Extract from the Northern Times of 30 March 2018 with the title 'Heritage talk on history of Industrial Capital of North' reporting the full house at the Royal Dornoch Golf Club when Dr Nick Lindsay from Clyne Heritage Society gave a talk on Brora' History Evolution and Quirks. Dr Lindsay took his audience road a Brora trail with stops and stories along the way recounting how the history of the parish of Clyne was dominated by its long industrial past with coal mining, a brick works, salt panning, tweed production, distilling and even very early electicity generation.
