A 'Trex' Cookery Book for Better Cooking with 84 pages of recipes and accompanying colour drawings. The front cover states 'More than 100 Everyday Recipes' and shows a drawing of a Trex pot with lettering 'The Ideal Cooking Fat , Cakes, Pastry, Frying' and 'Manufacturers: J Bibby & Son, Liverpool'. The Manufacturers of Trex, based at King Edward Street, Liverpool 3 published the book and it was priced at one shilling. It was printed by The P.P. Press, King Edward Street, Liverpool. No date is shown in respect of the printing but the book was known to have been used at the Dornoch Academy in 1950. The book has a small string loop at the top left corner, assumed to be used for hanging in a kitchen
