Fourth in a series of 8 colour slides recording the 'Last Kirking of Dornoch Town Council' in 1974. This shows a small group of the congregation at the last Kirk of the Town Council 1974 watching the start of the processional outside 'Grants' opposite the west gate to the Cathedral.

This group is made up of (from right to left) Meta Wright who taught English at the Academy; her brother Bill Wright who was Town Clerk during the term of the last Council; Mr Fyffe, who taught French at the Academy, and Mrs Wright, Bill's wife.
