An unused postcard with sepia photograph bearing a title at bottom left 'Group at Opening of Royal Dornoch Golf Club House 3rd July 1909'. The photographer's name is to the right of centre 'Photo by Andy Paterson - Inverness', In a prominent position at the centre of the photograph is Andrew Carnegie. The reverse has delineated spaces for 'Communication' and 'Address' with a central annotation 'Printed in Great Britain'. It has circular stains in two places, the bottom right corner is torn and there is a fold on the right hand side.

The Tall gentleman on the right of Andrew Carnegie is the 'Chiefy' - Malcolm Macdonald my great grandfather and 4 to the left at the front is Club Secretary John Sutherland.
