SC was an Edinburgh registration mark. ESC 430 and 447 were AEC Regal buses new to SMT,Edinburgh, later named Scottish Omnibuses and then Eastern Scottish. They were later transferred to Highland.
Highland was never very strong financially, and for many years had to subsist on vehicles cascaded from the more wealthy Scottish Bus Group fleets in the south and east of Scotland.
