From the Sinclair collection, a colour photograph of two single deck and one double deck Highland buses parked in the Thurso bus garage. The single deck bus on the left, registration ESC 430, has a route 29 and Thurso destination display mounted within a peaked type front to its roof. [An identical bus with registered number ESC 447 based at Mey is at 2017.038.073] The double deck bus, registration ASD 406 has the route display 'Thurso Local'.
