From the Sinclair collection, a colour photograph of two single deck buses with different livery parked at Dornoch Bus Garage. The bus on the left, in blue and white livery with skylight side roof windows is B40 with the rare Alexander body used on Scotia Tours from Edinburgh. It bears the registration suffix G indicating a registration date of 1968. It moved to Skye for the Edinburgh service in 1971 and later to Wick as a service bus. The bus on the right, an Albion Viking AV2 with routed display No 17 and in cream and red livery, arrived on loan from Fife in Dec 1966 and did not return until Oct 1970.
