I think these houses are at the north end of Stafford Road below Woodlands. The two semi-detached houses in the cul-de-sac of Murray Road which you describe(at the old Dornoch Hotel entrance) are the same c1920 houses as Macdonald Road and the rest of Murray Road.

We had some difficulty in identifying this slide (and others) in the 180 slides of the Heritage Society 1990 project which came to us without any details! Administrator

That is 2 ex council houses at end Stafford Road not Murray Road. They are near road leading to Earls Cross Road.
