Woman with pot and bucket

Monochrome photograph, from the Grant family albums.In this picture an older women poses outdoors on a wooden bridge or terrace. She is holding a metal pot over an enameled bucket and she is wearing a crisp white blouse and apron over a dark work skirt. Her hair is held back under a distinctive bonnet. The ground rises steeply behind her in stone walled terraces to a large whitewashed cottage with chimneys at either end. This picture is related to the next 2016.026.25.
