From the ‘Gillespie Collection’ of monochrome prints from glass photographic plates, a photograph of a lorry draped with the union jack and carrying girls dressed in highland dancing outfits. The lorry has the registration "NS2079" and seems to be coming around the cathedral out of the High Street. Another decorated lorry can be seen following and there are groups of spectators on each side.
