From the ‘Gillespie Collection’ of monochrome prints from glass photographic plates, a ground level view of Dornoch Castle tower viewed from the west. At the time of this photograph there is a low level wall and railings with a hedge behind. A couple with a young boy are sitting on the wall and there is a small gate beyond opening into the Castle gardens. In comparison (2016.010.027 shows a high level stone wall with an arched gate.
