The woman at the front under the "O" of Embo is Kate Ellen Davidson. Her husband was Albert Davidson and he was a radio operator in the merchant navy. Their children are Sheena and the late June Davidson. The young woman in front with her hand raised appears to be Christina Fraser (Christina aig Chiney). But somehow I suspect that this photo is later than 1940...was it not the welcoming party for the returning POWs in 1945?
