Carriage arrival at Dornoch Pageant 1928

Monochrome photograph showing two ladies in an open carriage pulled by a white horse. They are being greeted by a group of men and all are wearing pageant costume. In the background a long roofed structure has been erected in front of the cathedral and behind the fountain to provide shelter for the crowd of spectators seated there. The reverse is printed with the words Post Card and spaces for correspondence and address and has been stamped along the left hand edge "People's Journal Photo, C.M. Gillespie, Dornoch."
