Coronation pageant floats in Castle Street 1953

Monochrome photograph showing the front of a decorated truck, registration CLC 435 in Castle Street with the War Memorail plinth visible in the background. . There is a large sign " Snow white and the Seven Dwarfs" in front of (and partially obscuring) the windscreen, strings of union jacks, and the top of the cab is decorated with a model of a castle. The next truck in the parade can just be seen following behind and spectators walk alongside. a newer looking white van parked on the far pavement has the registration number JSG 977. Reverse is stamped with the numbers "20 54"
