Monochrome photograph, 155mm x 103mm,mounted on card, of the shop of W. Macrae, Baker, in Castle Street, with a group of four women, possibly a family group, standing by the doorway and another to the right of the right-hand window. The back of the card mount is inscribed in ink "Jenny this is the card of the shop very nice don't you think. Hope you are a good girl and not longing for home. Papa." Below written in pencil is "Miss ? Beaton, "Hollycyde," Fortrose, ?/10/10" and a quotation "Bring in the Lantern ?" and initials "P?"
