Two-sided greeting leaflet printed in sepia headed on the front "From 5th. Battalion The Seaforth Highlanders" above a map of the Mediterranean Sea with a route of the 1942-43 campaign in North Africa and Sicily with sites of battles indicated. The greeting "With all good wishes for the New Year" is printed below. On the reverse under the legend "5th. Bn. The Seaforth Highlanders - Battle Itinerary" is a list beginning "June 1942 ... Left U.K." and ending "November, 1943 ... Arrived U.K," with all the Battalion's engagements with dates itemised in between. [See 2016.002.39]
