A colour photograph taken from the tower of Dornoch Square showing the prominent buildings on the eastern side of the town, the sand coloured gable end of the school building, which became the Dornoch Social Club, to its right on the skyline 'The Grange' and amongst the trees to its right The Royal Golf Hotel. This photograph was taken prior to the construction of the Police Station in the green field area to the left of Grange Road
