In contrast to the stretched limo, a colour photograph showing a small 'Smart' car, developed as a town 'run-around' vehicle, parked in Castle Street outside the hardware store bearing its new title 'The Hardware Shop' (previously W A MacDonald'). The Smart car has colourful artwork signifying its use in house lettings. At the adjacent Luigis' customers enjoy their morning coffee under the sun canopy.
