Extract from Village Craic of the Northern Times of Friday May 1, 2015 reporting a double-bill talk by Peter and Sally Wild at the April meeting of the Dornoch Heritage Society. The evening opened with an illustrated talk by Peter about Robert Bruce who, around 1895, built what is now the Royal Golf Hotel to display his vast art collection which included many major works. In the second half of the evening Sally Wild talked about clootie rugs in the Highlands, showing many different types of construction and patterns.
