Sports at Dornoch - Canadian Forestry Corps

Photocopy of an extract published in the Northern Times of 4 July 1918 recording "Red Cross week opened at Dornoch on 1st July with a sports meeting arranged by the Canadian Forestry Corps". "A long programme was gone through and event after event was pulled off without a hitch." The article proceeds with an account of all the major events, including "a Canadian baseball game", and concludes with a complete record of the musical programme by the band of the Dragoon Guards from Nigg.
