Fifth of a series of 5 colour photographs provided by Peter Webber of a possible Crannog, a partly or entirely artificial island, at Creich grid ref: NH 64228 88066. The site is on a sand bank south of Creich Mains, built of stones with some exposed timbers. It is only viewable at low tide. Although resembling a crannog the timbers are less substantial than expected. If not a crannog it could be something to do with salmon fishing or the animal ferry crossing in this location.
