Dornoch Academy Centenary Ceremony 2013
Copy of the Dornoch Academy Centenary Ceremony 27 September 2013 programme of events. A4 folded card to produced A5 programme. A prologue audio visual presentation covered the history of Dornoch Academy. This was followed by a re-enactment of the 1963 ceremony for the opening of the new Academy building, with Councillor's Remarks preceding the welcoming of Dr Monica Mann, Lord Lieutenant of Sutherland who recalled the Queen Mother's Opening Speech. A Prayer of Dedication preceded presentations by former pupil and school pupils, a soloist, Vote of Thanks by the Rector and Benediction by the Rev Duncan MacLeod, Miniister Dornoch Free Church. The Epilogue was a short visual presentation of the subsequent fifty year history of Dornoch Academy.
