Metal button bearing the title 'Dornoch' and town crest. The reverse has an indentation where the fixing ring would have been. The 17 mm diameter button which is thought to date from the 19th century was found in the Clashmore- Skibo area by metal detecting. Possibly a button from a police uniform. A larger 26 mm diameter version was also found (picture #11970)
