Pipers fly the flag for Dornoch
An article, with accompanying monochrome photograph, published on the 'From our old files' page of the Northern Times of Friday 6 December 2013, reporting the success of Pipers Cameron Macdougall (16) and his brother drummer Scott (12) at the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association solo piping and drumming competitions at Huntly. In the under 17 section Cameron was placed first in all sections, march, Strathspey and reel, hornpipe and jig, and piobaireachd. Scott although just outwith the prize list, put in a skilled performance which did him great credit in the large competitive field.. Cameron and Scott regularly entertain crowds in Dornoch Square on Saturday evenings, as part of the Dornoch Pipe Band regular outings.
