Colour photograph of the plaque at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Bard Cottage Cemetery, near Leper, Ypres, Belgium declaring the land on which the cemetery stands as a free gift of the beloved people for the perpetual resting place of those of the Allied Armies who fell in the war of 1914-18. The cemetery contains many graves of Seaforth Highlanders, including that of Pte Hugh Munro, son of Donald and Margaret Munro of Well Street, Dornoch, who was killed in action of 7 Sep 1917 aged 23.
