A collection of 44 monochrome postcards showing fishing scenes around Scotland in the early 20th century. Monchrome photograph with the title 'Shelling the Mussels - Auchmithie' showing a fisherman and two women seated in front of a house. This is the same photograph as picture #11764 but with a different interpretation, the earlier 1904 version being ' preparing bait'. The reverse of this card bears two Queen Elizabeth II stamps, a red 21/2d and orange 1d with an address in Penarth Wales and a postmark of ? Feb 67,
