Monchrome photograph of two fisherwomen wearing what appears to be sacking protective aprons and shawls. One is holding a spade. Could they have been working with salt to preserve fish? The reverse is blanjk but shows the publisher to be M M Lard & Co. Photographers & Opticians 70 Market Street, Wigan
