Biography of John Tallach with title 'Mfundisi Tallach - a man with a burden for souls' by his daughter Catherine J N Tallach. John was born in Dornoch in 1890 and, after serving in WW1 in the trenches, he was ordained in 1924 as a Free Presbyterian Church Minister. The early chapters of the book cover the Tallach family in Dornoch, with some monochrome photographs including his father Andrew's General Merchant store and John's youth. He became a Minister in Southern Rhodesia and ultimately returned to Oban.
