The 14 page booklet provides an overview of the Dewar Report and 100 years of Healthcare in the Highlands and Islands 1912-2012. With recognition of the specific problems of the Highlands and Islands in the early part of the 20th Century, the Dewar Report led to the provision of an early version of the National Health Service.
