I am currently researching my family tree & have established that Dr Aneas MacLeod is my great-aunt's husband. As there is no-one I can ask in my immediate family are you able to tell me if Dr John is still around as I would love to get in touch. Thank you

Dr Aeneas Duncan MacLeod bought Lundavra (formerly Goderich Cottage), 1 Murray Road, Dornoch from my father Donald Mackay in 1966.

I have all my life remembered, and told of, the kindness and efficiency of Dr MacLeod...and he at no time displayed the negative and condescending attitude that many Dornoch residents then had towards what they disparagingly called "Embo Fishers".
