Group monochrome photograph of Dornoch Academy pupils c 1947/48, including Cathy Sutherland who was originally at Torboll Side School – second row back from the front, second from the right. Cathy gave a talk to the Dornoch Heritage Society on 'Torball Side School 1943-46' on 3 Mar 2008 (mini disc copy of talk 2010.041.01) The photograph was acquired for the purposes of a 2011 Dornoch Schools talk to the Dornoch Heritage Society, by Rick Bramley and John Muir, which later formed the basis for the museum 'Schools Out' exhibition in 2012.

I am front row 3rd from left, David Leslie 5th and Alistair Ross 6th.2nd from right is Euwen Currie met him today in The Meadows Nursing Home Dornoch but he did not know me.
