Badge produced from the first Dornoch Festival Week held c 1980. The circular badge with pin fastening is white enamel on tin. The central motif, representative of the burgh, golf links and local history, is a white cat with a black golf club surrounded by flames with wording 'Dornoch Festival Week'

Dimensions: Diameter 35 mm thickness 3 mm

The flames are for the burning of Janet Horne, and the cat is a wildcat which is the emblem of Sutherland. The triangle made by the golf club represents the spire of the cathedral.
