Copper alloy fitting, discovered by metal detectorist on Pitgrudy Farm, Dornoch, of 2 plates riveted together – badly corroding – one section became detached during scanning, very fragile. One rivet still insitu and holding 2 pieces together, one rivet hole present in both sections and larger piece has one extra rivet hole. Appears to have some kind of organic attached – wood? (Bag no 66)
