Copper alloy, leaded – nesting weight which appears to have some kind of copper alloy deposit on the inside and sooting on the base. There are incised lines around the outside but no marks visible on base (inside cannot be seen) which may indicate that it is a fake. Discovered by a metal detectorist on Pitgrudy Farm, Dornoch
