Dornoch Doctor Minute Book

Exercise book with patterned card cover and lined pages bearing the handwritten title on the first page 'Local Doctor Minute Book'. The first entry is a four page entry 'Dornoch 10th January 1888' with minutes of a Public Meeting held in Dornoch "for the purpose of taking steps to secure a resident Medical Officer for the Parish of Dornoch'. This entry has the signature Neil Taylor. (see 2012.029.04). The final minutes in the book are dated 5th May 1902 and therafter there are seven sides of blank pages with a final page containing pencil notes. The cover has been torn and is detached from the pages but the main pages are in good condition.
