Colour image of Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee 2012 official emblem freely avalable on the British Monarchy website for use for activities associated with the Diamond Jubilee celebrations including community and national events, The official emblem was the winning design following a national competition for children aged between 6 and 14. It was drawn by 10-year-old Katherine Dewar, from Chester.
The official emblem was used by Historylinks museum for banner decoration in the entrance and side windows of the museum (see 2012.026.02 and 03) and for the introduction to a looped slide show, produced for the museum public access PC, showing of the visit of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh to Dornoch in 1964
