Silk orange and green WW2 Defence Medal ribbon, as worn on a uniform jacket, and the cardboard brown box in which the medal was posted to the recipient. The medal is not present and originally despatched to W B Sampson Esq, Rosslyn Villa, Castle Street, Dornoch. The medal was packaged with an accompanying note from the Home Secretary.
