Second of series of seven colour photographs taken in June 2011 showing preparation work for the removal of the large granite seat, from the area of the Mercat Cross. This purpose of this large circular granite plinth was not immediately apparent when installed and it featured prominently in the public outcry for removal of this street furniture (see 2011.072.01-09).
