Eight page article "'Be-Marised or Bemused!' R T Hamilton Bruce and the International Exhibition of 1886' by Suzanne Veldink, published in Volume 14 of the Journal of the Scottish Society for Art History a copy of which is held in the museum library. Robert Hamilton Bruce, a successful Glasgow businessman, built 'The Grange' in Dornoch to house his art collection. The house later became the Royal Golf Hotel.
