From 2009 this has been an outdoor shop owned by George Campbell and prior to this was a shoe shop and earlier a newsagents Photograph blurred. Hello,
If I recall rightly my mother took this analogue photo of my grandparents Thomas and Isabella Sutherland around 1990 (not "1960" for the given year) prior to his retirement (he was into his 70's when he did). I was told the shop had previously been an Ironmongers. They had run the shop for at least 20 years. As of 2017 it had very briefly been a branch of the "Skye Oyster Shed". You are quite right that this shop was previously an Ironmongers, as far as we know it has also been a Grocer's Store, Off Licence, Pet shop, Florists, Gift Shop and after a brief stint as The Oyster Shed it is now a Newsagents.
