A 25 page document in a faded blue-green card cover with the inscription 'For Sale The Estate of Skibo in the County of Sutherland 1890'. It includes photographs (see example 2011.037.03) , monochrome engravings, plans of the castle, a map of the estate and details of farms, smallholdings and crofts and their rental. It was at this sale that the estate was bought by Andrew Carnegie. The document is damaged at the corners and along its edges.
