The person in the photo, I believe, is my father Leading Stoker James W. Alderson. He served on HMS Dornoch.

My father served on HMS Dornoch from April 1944 to July 1945 when she was paid off. Other than her role at D-Day and a few bits my father told me I know little of her history in the war and would love to see the letter if that's still possible

Is it possible for me to see the letter and photo please? My Grandfather served on HMS Dornoch. He was a Stoker - Frederick Charles Wilson. If anyone has any memories of my Grandfather I would be eternally grateful. He died in 1943 & my father has very few memories of him. Thank you.
