Extracts from the Northern Times of 4 Feb 2011 and the Press & Journal 21 Feb 2011 recording that Historylinks Museum was among the businesses and organisations recognised by the Highland Council for their "ongoing and valuable contribution to supporting local pupils thorugh skills for work, work experience and enterprise projects". Curator Peter Wild represented the museum at an awards ceremony held at Tain Golf Club on 27 January 2011.
