There has been a misunderstanding arising from the wording on the above document.
Alexander Will was not the Chief Constable, Hugh Chisholm served as Chief Constable of Sutherland from 1906 to 1933. Alexander Will was promoted to Sergeant in 1922 and so was writing on behalf of the Chief Constable in that capacity. Comment left on 21 December 2012 at 11:26 by Administrator
