Letter to the Editor Peoples Journal reference Carnegie Film

Copy of a handwritten letter dated 1/10/69 by Bob McCulloch to The Editor, Peoples Journal Dundee clarifying some apparently false impressions in the BBC film 'A Star Spangled Scotsman' and in an article in the People's Journal of 27 Sep 69. Bob McCulloch states he never claimed to have been chauffeur to Andrew Carnegie, stating he was employed by the family after his death and personally drove Mrs Carnegie, acting that part in the BBC film. He also highlights errors in the Journal: Alexander McKay served 18years in the Police not 8 years as stated and the author confused the number of cars in the Carnegie garage with the number in the Otto H Kahn garage.
