The van is certainly at least early 1930s, and probably, from the shape of the nose, a Morris.

T S Matheson Licensed Grocers was located in Castle Street - now Luigi's.
It was owned during the 30's and through the war years by my grandmother Georgina MacAskill and my mother Ellen Lyon.
Later sold to the Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Society.
