Volunteer Long Service Presentation

Programme of the Highland Third Sector Interface (HTSI) ‘Volunteer Long Service Tea and Presentation' held at the Spa Pavilion, Strathpeffer on Saturday 8th June 2019, at the end of Volunteers Week 1-7 June.

Among the 69 volunteers and their individual guests invited to attend this event were Historylinks volunteers Peter Wild, John Barnes and Tony Rundle whose long service to the Dornoch Heritage Society and Historylinks Museum spanned 20, 15 and 10 years respectively.

In opening the tea party HTSI Chief Officer Mhairi Wylie highlighted the fact that the cumulative volunteer service of the 69 volunteers amounted to a remarkable 1,449 years!
