'Double Drawing' at Historylinks

Extract from the Northern Times of 6 April 2018 with the title "Printmakers meet up for some 'double drawing' at Historylinks". The article is accompanied by a colour photograph of Raymond Arnold, an Australian printmaker and painter of international reputation visiting Historylinks museum to meet with artist Ian Westacott. Ian, also Australian has lived in Dornoch for many years and like Ray is a printmaker of international standing. Some years ago two prints of their were were gifted to Historylinks where there 'double printing' technique is used to great effect as can be seen from their interpretation, on the right of the photograph, of the original uniform of the First Sutherland Volunteers on display (left) in the museum
