Lock with key believed to have been used on the Dornoch Stocks

Substantial, heavy metal lock and key . Local accounts suggest that this lock came from the town stocks (enter 36 or 2002_294 in Search to see an image of the original town stocks located at the Mercat Cross). There is a colour negative of the lock and key in the Miss Lyon collection of photographs (enter 3117 or 2006_258_009 in Search).
